Les Mills is a New Zealand based company that is the world’s largest provider of choreographed exercise-to-music group fitness classes which is distributed to health clubs. The first Les Mills program was BODYSTEP™, with BODYPUMP™ being the first programme released internationally.

Which Les Mills fitness classes do you offer at Active4less?
At Active4less we currently offer Body Pump, Body Attack, Body Balance and Body Step. We feel these are the four classes that provide the most variety to targetting a large range of health and fitness goals.

How do I book onto one of your Les Mills classes?
Once signed up you will have access to our booking app. Here you will be able to book all classes including Les Mills.

What if i’m not a member, can I still try a class?
Yes, you will need to pay a guest fee of £7 per class. If you are regually using classes you might benefit from signing up to one of our memberships starting at £19.95 per month which is fully inclusive of all fitness classes and gym use.

BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean and toned.

The original barbel class. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

BODYPUMP is available as a either a 55, 45 or 30-minute workout.

BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts.

We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS™ instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 730 calories* and leaving you with a sense of achievement.

BODYATTACK is available as a either a 55, 45 or 30-minute workout.

Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is at the heart of BODYSTEP™ – a full-body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs.

In a BODYSTEP Athletic class you combine basic stepping with moves like burpees, push ups and weight plate exercises to work the upper body. If you fancy quicker stepping and the chance to showcase your rhythm and flair then BODYSTEP Classic is the way to go. There are always lots of options to get you through the workout safely.

Our bubbly and approachable instructors coach you through the workout. We play invigorating, hit music and inject a whole lot of fun and personality along the way. You can burn up to 620 calories* and you’ll leave buzzing with satisfaction.

Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCE™* is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life.

During BODYBALANCE an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered. Happy.
